Dennis Meyers formed Meyers Law Group in 2022 in an effort to provide clients with more personal, results-oriented and cost-effective litigation.

Mr. Meyers has been practicing law for more than 20 years, handling litigation matters at both the state and federal level throughout Florida, and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of International Trade, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11^th Circuit, as well as Federal Court in the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida. He formed Meyers Law Group in 2022 in an effort to provide clients with more personal, results-oriented and cost-effective litigation. Prior to forming Meyers Law Group, Mr. Meyers worked at a state-wide insurance defense firm in Tampa, and was General Counsel for a national medical company.

Mr. Meyers focuses his practice of law primarily on insurance defense, first party property, insurance coverage matters, workers’ compensation, and commercial litigation. Prior to practicing law, Mr. Meyers was a licensed insurance adjuster with both Progressive Insurance in Rhode Island, and The Hartford Insurance in Tampa, Florida. He is a member of the Defense Research Institute (DRI), the largest international membership organization for defense attorneys and in-house counsel, and is also a member of the Florida Defense Lawyers Association (FDLA).

Mr. Meyers is a graduate of Roger Williams University School of Law in Bristol, Rhode Island, where he obtained his Juris Doctorate. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Penn State University in International Politics, with a Minor in Middle East Studies.

Mr. Meyers is also a proud military veteran, having served in the U.S. Naval Reserves as a Hospital Corpsman from 1987-1994. While attending Penn State, Mr. Meyers’ unit was activated to serve in a combat zone in northern Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Storm. His Unit received the Meritorious Unit Commendation medal from the Secretary of the Navy, and for his service during that conflict, he was awarded a Letter of Appreciation from his commanding officer.
